Whilst we didn’t need a team of judges and a glitzy awards ceremony to tell us that our Executive Assistant Angela Wooller always goes the extra mile to help develop our business and keep our MDChris in check, it definitely doesn’t hurt for it to be officially recognised in front of a room full of fellow PAs and industry colleagues, which is exactly what happened last month at the Annual PA Hub Awards!
The PA Hub is a dynamic network of Personal Assistants across Yorkshire and Merseyside, which focuses on training, development, collaboration and (most importantly) socialisation within the industry. Founders Jon and Marion planned their fifth annual awards at Hilton Leeds City this October, to celebrate and recognise the achievements of PAs across the region from rising stars to best event organisers.
The PA Hub enlisted the help of our excellent tech and events team at AYRE to support with all things technical, planning and presentation design in the lead up, and on the day of the event, leaving them to concentrate on celebrating their fantastic members and having fun.
Our EA Angela has been a member of The PA Hub for over 4 years, and this year, she was nominated for the Above and Beyond Category, sponsored by SaccoMann, recruitment specialists who, amongst other services, help to recruit secretarial and business support within the legal world.
The Category called for PA’s who have “influenced or implemented something that proved to make a visible difference or cost saving to their company; a PA who understands the needs of the business they work for.”
Angela has been pivotal in supporting AYRE Ltd in the 12 months she has been here with us, going above and beyond her role as Executive Assistant, helping to streamline our HR and business processes as well as being the main point of contact for many of our lovely clients. So we were delighted, and not at all surprised, when Angela was announced as the winner of the Above and Beyond Award, and received the public recognition she deserves for her hard work and dedication.

The team had a fantastic evening at the awards ceremony, and even more importantly, £345 was raised for Cash For Kids. We can’t wait for next year’s ceremony and continuing our work with The PA Hub.
